I have suffered from headaches and migraines for as long as I can remember. My dad told me that when I was a baby learning to talk, one of the first things I learned how to say was that I had a headache. I grew up taking copious amounts of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Motrin) regularly for pain. While I don’t really like putting drugs into my body, when it comes to severe pain, I turn to whatever brings relief.

The problem with headaches and migraines is that it can be difficult to identify why they occur. Sometimes, obviously; your head is blocked due to sinus pressure or you fell and hit your head hard. But most of the time, they just creep up on you over the course of a few hours until you finally get to the point where any kind of movement, sound, or bright light feels like a hammer hitting you in the head.

Years of painkillers damaged my liver. I don’t blame them, because I’ve chosen to keep them in my body many times, and I’m sure I’ll do it again in the pain of this moment. They often help to ease the pain, and sometimes we just need to reach the next moment to move on.

But they don’t always help. Honestly, I haven’t found anything, medicinal or natural, that completely eliminates my migraines every time. However, I have found that with an arsenal of different remedies, one of them is bound to work for any type of headache I have going on at the moment. Maybe one of these will help you.

Migraine and Liver

Using the theory that migraines are related to the liver, target the areas of the liver and scalp on your feet. Apply a few drops of Valor essential oil all over your feet, paying particular attention to the backs of the big toes, and massage in firmly. Apply a drop or two of M-Grain to the backs of your big toes as well as the nail bed. The point of the brain is on the big toe.

The liver point is on the right leg. If you find the center of your foot (including the toes) and move out towards the part you’re kicking, that’s where you’re kicking. I also put a drop of M-Grain in here, ingesting rhythmically for a few minutes. It’s easier with a few drops of olive oil.

Then M-Grein is placed on the 3rd point of the liver, which is on the top of the leg, from between the big toe and the next toe to the knee. Insert a finger between those bones, melt the oil.

Chemical headache

Toxins from chemicals, such as paint fumes, can cause headaches. Inhaling an essential oil, such as peppermint oil, can help restore balance. Here the distribution of oil is particularly effective.

Caffeine constricts blood vessels. Sometimes just drinking coffee or coke can help with migraines.

Depending on the size of the capsule, fill one or two empty capsules with these oils and swallow with a glass of water.
